The Pole Star Readers (1 – 8) is an engaging collection of material designed to advance the english reading and comprehension skills of the learners through eight carefully graded levels. The objective is to deliver a wide range of contemporary and classic stories, along with some realia, to provide an enjoyable assortment of reading material. The selections, which increase in complexity across the lessons in each book, are choice specimens of the genres and are written by a diverse group of authors.
